This article presents a critical review of the development of NGOS in Bangladesh, focusing on their roles, missions, and contributions to socio-economic progress. The study investigates NGOS' participation in development, education, and disaster response projects using secondary sources. It draws attention to the objectives and missions of NGOS in tackling social development, poverty, and inequality. The contributions of NGOS to both formal and informal education are given special consideration. The study also examines the opportunities and difficulties NGOS in Bangladesh face.
